Turning links, text or WiFi credentials into a QR code — or reading one from a screenshot — is an everyday need. This tool generates downloadable PNG QR codes locally (multiple error-correction levels and sizes) and also decodes QR content from uploaded images offline. All processing happens in your browser and images are never uploaded, so it is safe for access cards or internal-system screenshots.

How to Use

What is the error-correction level?
The ability of a QR code to stay scannable when partly covered or damaged — four levels: L (7%), M (15%), Q (25%), H (30%). Choose H if you plan to overlay a logo.
What if a code cannot be recognized?
Make sure the QR code is complete, sharp and free of glare or distortion in the image; for screenshots, zoom in and capture again.
Do generated QR codes expire?
No. A QR code is just a graphical encoding of its content and stays valid forever (unless the encoded link itself expires).
