Core promise: your data stays on your device

The vast majority of WebTool tools (JSON processing, encoding/decoding, encryption, text and image tools) run entirely in your browser. Anything you paste, type or upload is never sent to our servers. You can verify this anytime in your browser’s Network panel.

The only exceptions

• My IP: the server echoes back the source IP your request already carries. Nothing is stored or logged.
• IP geolocation: IPs you submit are looked up against an offline database and discarded immediately — never stored or correlated.
• AI features: when you explicitly use an AI feature, the relevant input is proxied to the model provider (your own key via BYOK, or our shared quota). Requests are not logged or stored.

Local storage

Tools use your browser’s localStorage / IndexedDB for input drafts, history and favorites. This data lives only on your device — clearing browser data removes it completely, and the in-tool clear buttons delete it anytime.

Account data (optional sign-in)

If you choose to sign in with an email verification code (optional), we store your email addressand the favorites & history you sync, solely to keep them available across your devices. Verification codes are stored only temporarily (expire in 10 minutes) and sessions last 30 days. This data is never used for any other purpose.

Cookies & tracking

Apart from the sign-in session cookie (httpOnly, used only to keep you signed in), we set no tracking cookies and use no third-party behavioral analytics SDK.
